It has been a grey week…the weather and my paint color choice.
I found this wonderful pair of chairs at a yard sale this summer. They were not only in excellent condition but they have great lines and beautiful detailing.
The color and fabric, however, had to go. After a coat of bright white paint and some fun chevron fabric, I think they are now freshened up and beautiful.
Next project was this fantastic round side table we found at a thrift store while on vacation. It was also in excellent condition, other then the terrible graffiti painted on the top.
So after removing it with a quick sanding I used more bright white paint and a nice soft grey color.
To add new life to this huge beveled mirror, I used more of the bright white paint. That golden oak color had to go…yuck.
After all that grey and white it was time to go bold. This table is another yard sale find and oozes with charm. I had to use a heat gun to remove the old contact paper on the top then I painted it with this great red color and used dark wax to bring out all its fantastic detailing. This little beauty would add life and a pop of color to any room.
