We managed to do some thrift store shopping on our vacation to the coast this week because we took the truck instead of the motorcycle. I passed on quite a few good deals because as you can see from the picture below, my storage shed is overflowing with fun winter projects. But please do not call me a hoarder, I prefer to think of it as storing nuts for the winter. However, there were a few treasures that I couldn’t leave behind.

This unusual, well built, side table was found buried in an antique store. It is in very good condition, other than the creative painting on the top — the marijuana leaf needs to go.

This little cart was too cute to pass up, and half price. How could you go wrong? I think it would make a really fun addition to a child’s room.

And I couldn’t pass on this metal student desk, it was FREE! I see a potting bench in this guys future, with the addition of some barn board and extra shelving.

This collection was small enough, that it will still fit in the shed. The greatest deal we found was used hardware, or as I like to call it “furniture jewelry”.

These two beauties were gifts from a family friend, and they had to be stored in the overflow shed (a.k.a. the motorcycle shed). It is a good thing yard sale season is coming to an end, because so is my storage room. Time to stop shopping and start working.
